Pink and flowers. And allergies.

It's been a few days since I've posted again. I got a bit of not so feel-good's the past few days. I thought at first it was a cold coming on, but then I realized that I had spent a good amount of time down in our mold-ridden basement putting in a washer and dryer (or rather, 'supervising' my hubby and his dad do the work) and decided that I'm having a sort of allergic reaction. To the mold. So now I wear a mask to do laundry :) oh joy! haha. But yes, I thought-what a great time for me to start feeling cruddy-the first week of classes! I am feeling better today, however so thank the good Lord for that!
Just a short post to touch base, nothing special. I kind of repeated the top half of my outfit between Sunday and today, just changed out the skirt for pants to go to class.

Today's verse:
Exodus 23:25
Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.

God Bless!

Washer and dryer!

Busy day! Sean and I were moving, rummaging, driving, loading, hanging out with friends and family, etc! Whew!
Sean helped a friend of his move into the dorms today while I did a bit more practical rummaging. There were like 15 rummage sales around town today-it was crazy!!! I only made it to like two though...which was sad. But the two I went to were pretty awesome!! At the first I went away with a little endtable to put by our couch-for a quarter!!! Only 25 cents baby! There was some green paint stuff on the top of it, but that came right off and now it's a perfectly good endtable! At the second sale it was like a vintage clothing treasure trove with everything for only a quarter each!!!! It was a good thing Sean called to say I had to come let him in the house (for he was keyless) because I could have really made a haul at that place. But I did come away with a BEAUTIFUL vintage trench coat in, you guessed it, my exact size. I was on a clothing high....I'm pretty proud of myself for not buying too much though-a trench is an essential piece of clothing for anyone's wardrobe in my opinion.
Ok, so that was only like an hour of my day. After that we went to get some lunch with the friends whom Sean helped move in and then we set off to another town to get a washer and dryer! The ones in our basement that the last tenants left didn't work, but we found someone who was giving away a washer and dryer together for $50!!! So we bought them. The laundry mat in town is ridiculously expensive and so we figured were saving over 200 dollars just by buying these, even if we have to leave them here when we possibly get an apt. someday. sheesh, I feel like I'm rambling....anyways it was a pretty busy week-but only to get busier with school starting next week! I should probably go buy some notebooks and pens or something...hmmm....

Here's just a little something to remember as well :D

1 Timothy 5:13-
Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to.

Last week of freedom

Well, today is Friday and the week went extremely fast. I didn't get to do some of the things I wanted to do...or accomplish some things I wanted to accomplish, but that's ok I suppose. School starts Monday and I am looking forward to it only for the social aspect that it will bring back into my life. It's been a crazy month with Sean working and me sitting home alone!! But I have most of my books ordered and I have some fun classes, such as Children's Theater that should be a blast!

Today's verse:
“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.”- Isaiah 26:3

I was going to go running today, I promise I was, but it was so windy out! I would have gotten blown off the trail just walking! But on my way there I saw like a million signs for rummage sales so I went home to change into a proper rummaging outfit-comfy, breezy and simple! As it turns out, I am so horrible at this game that I only found one of the rummage sales, even though there were about 5 other signs that I saw...sigh. I swear I followed the directions!! But the one sale I made it to was definitely worth all of the running around. I got some great shirts, a jacket, a dress, and this great applesauce colander (my favorite purchase of the day) for only about four dollars for all of it! I was pretty excited. Then when I went to pay I got side hugged by one of my great friends who just happened to be passing by the rummage sale!!! So I got to talk to her for a bit and it was WONDERFUL!!! I miss my friends...
Love you all and God bless!

Wicked and one month anniversary!!!

Hooray!! It's our one month wedding anniversary today and I am super excited :):) I have such a wonderful, hardworking hubby who does everything he can to take care of me-I am so blessed!
We went to the cities to see Wicked this past weekend and it was AMAZING. I cried within the first thirty seconds of the start of the show just from sheer awesomeness-not joking! It was so cool to hear the music that I've been listening to performed live; it sounded so good! I have such mixed emotions when I go to see professional theatre because that is honestly what I would LOVE to do. I wish that I could belt and sing and act to that caliber. I love performing! But the show was beyond words and I would probably go see it everyday if I could :D I'm so glad I got the opportunity to see it! After the show we went to the hard rock cafe to eat, and it was ok-the chocolate peanut butter dessert was the best part!
So, we didn't take as many photos as I would have liked...but I got a couple to share with you and that will have to do :)

I got this dress years and years ago at a crazy days sale in my hometown for 5 dollars!!! And I have never gotten a chance to wear it, so it was fun to finally wear it and it was so nice and comfy and breezy for walking all around the cities trying to find things :D:D

This was the cool waterfall near our hotel that ran into the ground. I thought it was cool because it looked like it would run onto the floor, but just ran down into the floor! Ok...I'm easily amused, I know :)

My handsome hubby posing for me by the waterfall, I got some crazy ones of him posing too, but decided he wouldn't appreciate me posting them, haha!

See how happy we look?! You have to go see this show! :D:D

God Bless!

Hullo!
So...I was sitting on the couch today and I accidentally fell asleep for four hours....has that ever happened to you? So I totally feel like I wasted my day...but it was awesome!
When Sean got home we ate some mac and cheese and then went to go look at cars at the local dealership to dream about some cars that we can't afford :)
I will need a car at some point...but my Roxy is still running with 240,000 miles on it!! wooohoo!!!
Anywho, just a comfy, comfy outfit for being around the house today :D
My face looks really funny, but that's only because I had Sean take my pictures, only to find out that I had forgotten to put the card back in the camera...I was too lazy to go in and get it...so I had to go with the one picture that we got!! haha

Wearing:
Top- Got this top a little big so I could belt it and wear it with leggings! From walmart...:)
Leggings- Dollar store
Belt- Thrifted
Shoes- Payless
Purse- Flea market

Also I thought I would post some pictures of our place! It is a duplex and we have the bottom level with two bedrooms. It has a pretty large kitchen, but cleanliness was certainly an issue when we arrived! But we have lots of nice counter space and that's good for all the baking I love to do :D

The living/dining area is very large as well which is nice. It is a nice little place and I am content with it for the amount of time we will be living in it.

Here is Sean entering his cokepoints! He has actually gotten a lot of nice stuff by doing coke points, but that's because he's had an army of people behind him supplying him with lots of caps!

I was glad there was this little nook in the kitchen for all of my cookbooks! I LOOOVE cookbooks! I would rather read them than any other kind of book for some reason...don't give me fantasy or adventure books-I'll take a cookbook any day!

I love you all and God Bless!

What do the laundry mats in your area cost you? Because it cost me almost 15 dollars to wash our clothes today-15 DOLLARS! That's unbelievable! At this rate I think it would be cheaper to just buy a washer and dryer. Meh.
So anywho, washed clothes today! That's about it. I haven't done much else-but I like to think that I can have a little time to relax after a crazy summer and thinking about school starting in less than two weeks. Although then I feel like a lazy pile when I remember that my husband drives an hour to work and back and works all day long...sigh, what a good man I have. I love him to pieces.
Soon I will be posting pictures of our house for those that are interested!
Might go bowling tonight! I haven't been in a while and I quite enjoy bowling. Sometimes I even get strikes, teehee. But definitely not often....Our church is having a free bowling night for people to get to know one another and so Sean and I will probably go when he gets off of work-I'm excited!

So these are like the most comfortable pants ever. I have three pairs, all in different colors and they feel like sweatpants-love them!
