Wrap Skirt

I found this skirt at a rummage sale this weekend. I loved the beautiful print. The woman selling it said that her mother made it for her when she was a girl! I so enjoy hearing the special memories attached to items of clothing, it's why I love vintage oh so very much :)

Hebrews 6:19-20
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever.

Sidewalk Arts Festival

It's been kind of a quiet summer on the blog, but a loud one in real life! A couple of weeks ago I had some dear girls stay with me for the weekend and we ventured down to our sidewalk arts festival to peruse hundred's of vendors selling anything one can imagine. It's always so nice to see the different creative talents other's possess and marvel at the unique art/food/etc.
I got this dress from a great friend earlier this year and it is by far one of my closet favorites now. I adore the color blue (to me it's a neutral, haha), and the detailing is just so cute. Plus it twirls like a dream. I got this hat from a vintage shop in town and while it's a little difficult to make it stay on, the struggle is worth it. It's just the perfect little straw hat!
Hope your summer ended with a bang, babes!

Pink Lady

Found this dress a couple of weeks ago at Savers and it is a winner. Pockets, pink, flowers, fun details? Ya, it's my new favorite :)
Still been busy as a bee, I can't believe that the summer is over and schools are starting up again! It is so strange listening to all the hustle and bustle of school talk and not being part of it this year! I've been on a teacher's schedule for so many years it feels odd to not be planning lessons and such.
Hope you all are faring well this September so far! :)
